Harrogate Accommodation BID Consultation

The Harrogate BID and Harrogate Hospitality & Tourism Association are in the early stages of exploring an Accommodation BID (ABID) to help attract more overnight visitors.

To support this ambition and to inform the development of an ABID Business Plan, Coral & Crown was appointed to manage a comprehensive consultation programme involving in-depth interviews with the hotels affected by the proposed visitor levy.

Tees Valley LVEP Growth Plan

Following Tees Valley's Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) accreditation, the Tees Valley Combined Authority appointed Coral & Crown to develop its Growth Plan.

Intended to support the growth of the LVEP and guide the LVEP's relationship with Visit England, the Growth Plan outlines an approach to destination management, destination marketing, stakeholder engagement, organisational structure, commercial strategy and business support.

Harrogate International Festivals Audience Development Scoping Review

Ahead of developing its new Business Plan, Harrogate International Festivals (HIF) intends to develop a greater understanding of its audiences. To begin the journey, HIF appointed Coral & Crown to conduct an Audience Development Scoping Review to analyse current practices, identify potential data sources and providers, and establish a recommended way forward.

Destination Harrogate Establishment

When employed by Harrogate Borough Council, Coral & Crown Founder, Gemma Rio, established a brand new Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for the district of Harrogate.

Following a staff restructure, extensive industry consultation, and the development of brands Visit Harrogate, Events Harrogate, Invest Harrogate and Culture Harrogate, the award-winning DMO attracted new visitors to Harrogate through strategic event attraction and development, and creative marketing campaigns.​​
